EUORASIS

Brief Description

 The current tool retrieves information from a temporal Database Management System and subsequently attempts to visualise it. The retrieved information could be of any kind, temporal or non-temporal. The information is mainly divided into three subcategories: Nominal i.e. textual), Ordinal i.e. numerical, Temporal i.e. time points and time intervals.

Snapshots

The first two pictures show what the EuOrasis Visualiser/Browser produces in the case of the query "select code, capacity from engine where name = "VW Golf" in a database that keeps information about cars. The database is temporal thus it keeps track of the history and evolution of the stored values over time. As a result of it, the two pictures underneath represent the history of the engine code and capacity for the car model VW Golf.

Visualised results
The secont pair of pictures show the output of the Visualiser for the query "select name, price from car". Just two cars exist in the database. The textual data are represented with the exponential method, and the numerical with a simple bar chart where the longest bar is revolving.
